Is this not adorable??? I purchased Becky’s Fashionable Favorites tutorial and while the purses are super cute, I thought they would be smaller than they actually are. Soooo, I miniaturized it myself by printing out the template at 75%. The original template makes a 4 inch high purse. My miniaturized version makes a purse that is just a tad under 3 inches high. Love it!!!
Here are a couple more pics which show it (and a Flirty Flamingo friend) in front of an original sized purse body and with an ink refill bottle for size comparision. Totes adorbs!!

I came across this card while looking for cards made with the new Strength & Prayers stamp set and immediately loved it! The first one (bottom in pic) I made almost the same but used a different image, choosing the mountains from In The Meadow. For the second one (top in pic), I reversed the colors and used the anchor image from Guy Greetings. I really like how they are the same, but yet, different.
I LOVE this card I made yesterday! It is based on one made by Jackie Bolhuis over at Klompen Stampers. I changed the color of the rose to yellow using So Saffron and Daffodil Delight inks and also changed the card base color, using So Saffron. I used Shimmery White cardstock for the flower and leaves. You can’t see the shimmer in the picture but believe me, it shimmers!! A lot! I am absolutely in love with how it turned out!

I love CASE-ing cards as there are so many fantastic ones out there to make. But this time, I thought I would challenge myself and try to come up with something on my own using a card sketch. I like the sketches over at Mojo Monday so after looking at some, I chose sketch #385. Then I chose the stamp set I wanted to use, which was Pop of Paradise along with the DSP, which was Pop of Pink. I chose coordinating ink in Melon Mambo, added a bit of gold in the form of Gold Metallic Thread and Gold Foil Sheets and this is the result. Not too bad I guess 😀 !!
I rather enjoyed challenging myself. I plan on doing more card sketches in the future…maybe even getting in on some challenges at some point 😀
I saw this beautiful card by Sarah-Jane over at Cards and a Cuppa and I knew right away that I wanted to CASE it…so I did. I did mine in shades of blue and I LOVE how it turned out!! Simple but yet, so elegant. This would look fabulous done in all the different color families…or even rainbow color. Ohh, I just gave myself an idea there 😀
Here is my card – hope you like it.
